I have my minis in 2 12" containers. My question is when should I cut them back and how much should I cut them? This will be the first fall/winter I have had them. Right now the temp during the day is in the mid 70's and at night in the low to mid 50's. Also, I plan on keeping them in the garage over winter (I live in an apartment and don't really have much of a place to dig a hole for my minis...there are also a lot of rocks in the ground around here making it hard to dig a whole deep enough for the pots). The garage is dark and cool in the winter time. When should I put my minis in the garage and how much water do they require over the winter?
