Does anyone here have this rose, and how does it grow for you. Would you recommend it?

My Rubies n' Pearls went to rose heaven a long time ago. Needless to say, it was not to my liking. There are so many fantastic miniature roses to be had, in my opinion, you will be wasting your time on RNP. Since you're in Canada, and classic miniature roses ships across Canada, you may like to visit their website which is http://theheatherfarm.com. Look for rose list. They sell both heather and miniature roses. The list of miniatures available is huge, and their plants are superb!

Some miniatures which are my favourites for both growth and flower production are Incognito,Hot Tamale, Loving Touch, Irresistible, Old Glory, and a new one they have recently added to their list is Marry Me from the U.K. In one season this had produced a large bush with really lovely pink blossoms.

Too late, it's already ordered. The Heatherfarm is where I ordered my minis from last year. I got Irresistible, Loving Touch, Hot Tamale, Starina, Cheer Up and Teddy Bear. I had Denver's Dream on order, but they were out. Haven't made any list from there yet. Still debating whether I should wait and see if these overwinter for me or not. Quite cold here in winters.

So what did you not like about Rubies n Pearls ?

I didn't care for the bloom style at all. No form to it as far as I am concerned. It may perform differently in your climate tho. The plant grew like gangbusters and produced a very large plant, so it's really too bad the form wasn't better here. However, it's not the only miniature that I know is very good in other locations, but not so good here. An example is Kristen. I know it's good farther south and have seen some beautiful photos of it. While it grows well here, the form of the blooms is always disappointing for me. Oh well! that's life I suppose. I prefer to grow miniatures that are useful to me.
