'Heatbreaker' is an excellent rose with good resistance. It has dark green glossy folliage and a great repeat bloomer. Terrific rose all around. I don't think you can go wrong getting this one.

'Something For Judy' is also an exellent rose, but not quite as resisitant as 'Heartbraker'. The folliage is medium green and not as prolific a bloomer, but still a good choice.

I grow both of them and live in Southern California where we now fight BS just like everyone else for example :o(

I have grown both roses for years. These are two of the roses I moved from my southern California home up to the mountains in northern California. Both roses are what I call solid roses. They can take a lot of neglect and still come through with prolific bloom. I have found 'Something For Judy' to be more heat tolerant than 'Heartbreaker', but I would not hesitate to recommend either rose. Since I like both roses, I'd probably give the top vote to SFJ because it is fragrant, while Heartbreaker does not have any scent at all.
