LED Lighting and Mini's

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has any feedback about his or her experiences using LED based plant lighting.

About a year ago, I ran into a new product announcement called the "SolarOasis Ruby": www.solaroasis.com, in The Growing Edge magazine.

Since I was not able to find much information about this product I just purchased it. My experiences so far have been very successful with minis, with blooms opening several times a year and lasting for months. The blooms are tight, full, and being grown indoors are free from bug and wind damage.

I love to hear any feedback that you have had using this or similar products.

Therese

RE: LED Lighting and Mini's

I just found your post. This fall I was looking at lights so I could winter over some minis. I need to force them for my daughters wedding this coming June. I could never find anything that wasn't really expensive for my purpose. The lights you ordered look fantastic. What did you pay for them? Thanks

I bought the gro-bar, it has 3 heads which is perfect for a single plant, cost around 100. Well worth it, purchased the grow version and my mini bloomed 4 times last year. They do sell a bloom version, that I have not used yet.

I am hoping to hear some feedback on this version as well.
