Minis for W. Central Fla. gulf-coast

I am looking at Minis and would like some advice on what does best in Central West coast Fla., lots of heat and humidity and nematodes here.. thanks, sally

I live in N/W Fl. and I know what you mean about the heat and Nematodes. There are afew nurserys starting to carry minis on floritunana root stock now. But what I do and it seems to help is to use three gal black nursery pots and plant my minis in the ground in theses so far so good. I mulch around the rims for apperance.All of the minis I grow are doing well here. Harold

Thank you phatboyrose, interesting way to plant the roses... I have a few in big pots but they seem to do better in the ground, that's why I'm really looking for Fort. grafted plants, and am finding a few, Cool Roses in W. Palm has a few, also Rosemania has 3 on Fort. Nelson has Fort. roses but not many Mini's..... sally
