ID a rose I saw in San Diego

I just returned from a trip to San Diego where I saw a rose I'd love to ID.

It was climbing over an arch so it was around 8 feet but I don't know how much of that was pruned.

The leaves were sort of small kind of like the leaves on Ducher but not really the same.

The blooms were around 2 inches across and reminded me of a small white version of Marchesa Boccella but not exactly. I wish I had had a camera there but the best I could do was "liberate" a small piece--they were cutting everything back anyway and photograph it now. The bloom got pretty mangled in my bag on the way back below is the best I can do.

The fragrance was light--heavier in the evening than in the morning.

I didn't think to look specifically for thorns but I don't remember seeing very many--they were mostly around the buds. Sorry that it's kind of blurry but I think you can see the idea.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Thanks, Jeff
