How can a tell if a rose is a climber, srub etc?

I just uncovered a rosebush along the back edge of one of my big beds. This rose was virtually non-exsistant last year, totally choked out by other plants (and weeds!)

It has very long tendrils dragging several feet along the ground. Its just starting to get leaves.

I think it may be a climber, that perhaps there was a trellis there at one point, but I'm not sure? I would replace the trellis if I knew for sure that this rose was a climber. There are several other climbing roses planted in that general vicinity as well.

I really want to try and bring this rose back to life and showcase it again, but I'm not sure how since I have no idea of what type of rose it is?
