I have a similar rose which another forum member identified as Wild Dancer. Other internet images seem to confirm this. Hope this helps. I listed this rose in a post a few days ago on this forum as unknown #5.

Yes, I would say the one shown here is a Rambler.

I wonder if it could be "Mozart"? I've been looking around at rose retailer sites, since I don't have a membership at Help Me Find; therefore can only search on one characteristic. Kinda hard poring through 150+ pages of roses, lol.

Look at some rose picture books, several have been put out comparatively recently.

I think Mozart is a pretty good guess, since the flowers seem bigger. Have you considered American Pillar? The fact that you detect scent should help narrow it down. Good luck.
