unknown white climbing rose

ValliNagy

The climbing rose pictured here was given to me as a cutting by a friend who wasn't sure what it was called. It is a thorny and extremely vigorous climber, sending out shoots more than 10 feet long every season. The flowers are very lightly fragrant, and don't last long when cut. They open a peach color and fade to a pinkish off-white, and are 1-2 inches in size. I've compared them to a bunch of other white and off-white climbers like Iceberg, White Dawn, Sombreuil, Cecile Brunner, and so on, but it doesn't seem to be quite like any of them-- less white than some, less double than others. But I realize web pix don't tell the whole story. Can any of you rose experts pin it down for me?

Thanks!
