OK so here is the story about this rose. I bought it for my grandma for mother's day back in 2006. It was called a "Pink Nancy" rose or something to that effect. Anyway, it bloomed one time, these big pretty pinkish-lavender blooms. Then it never bloomed again!!! It was still alive, it just never bloomed.

In 2011, someone gave me an angel trumpet and I wanted to put it where I had planted this rose. The rose looked dead at this point. So I dug it up. When I dug it up, it had brand new healthy shoots coming up so I thought, maybe all this time it had been buried too deep! So I moved it.

Lo and behold, it bloomed again in 2012! One single bloom. Nothing since 2012.

So, it is coming back this year. Except I have noticed something.... the right side of the rose has tiny leaves, and the left side of the rose has huge leaves. Um, is this normal!?!? Take a look at the pics.
