Is this possibly an Austin Rose?

Wow Thank you! I really gambled on this rose since nothing had bloomed when I bought it. But the plant was huge and healthy so I gave it a shot. I love this bush and it was only 5.99! My first Austin...... but probably not my last.

It might be Othello.

I think it is an Austin rose but I don't believe it is Benjamin Britten. The color of BB is more orangy as seen here:

Look up Christopher Marlowe rose online.
David Austin rose is definate.
If it has a nice smell, it could be Christopher Marlowe.
Does it look like it changes shades of color as it ages?
Any way, it is beautiful!

I have Christopher Marlowe and this mystery rose doesn't look like mine at all. Christopher Marlowe is salmon colored and fades to a pinkish color. The shape of CM is more loose also.

I have to agree with Benjamin Britten. I have it and it looks the same. It has that weird tint of orange/pink in the blooms, when it fries from the sun, or is older it takes on a different shade.

Mine is huge, has to be about 5ft tall. Before we dug it out to take with us to the new house, it was throwing very long canes so I planted it as a smaller climber.

I had 2 bushes and left one. I don't know what it was about the other bush but it never grew large and used to be really bushy.

The photo linked below is pretty accurate to mine when not frying in the summer.
