Confusing rose, possible 2 or 3 in one? ID input

question for anyone who knows about roses. I've had this rose bush growing on the side of my house for 3 years now, it hasn't bloomed until this year .My question is is it possible to have one rose bush that has other types on it? I have never seen any of my roses do what this plant is doing. It has 6 foot plus canes in the back (half inch thickness growing straight up, not suckers, still giving them a chance for possible blooms) and looks like a knockout in the front. There's also some sort of fragrant rambler with much smaller leaves (blooming vibrant red but fades to almost purple with one layer petals, white fading into yellow center) sprawling out. What in the world could this be? I have more pics as well, this one is kinda rough. Thanks for ANY input!

Your rose (maybe Double Knock Out) is grafted onto a different rose that is used as rootstock. That rose, the red "rambler", is Dr. Huey, which is a once-blooming (in the spring) climber, that is the one with the thin canes. If you can dig down to the graft union (a big knot) and find the source of the Dr. Huey canes and rip them off, you can save the original plant. Cutting the Dr. Huey canes won't help. If there is more Dr. Huey than other plant, then I recommending digging it all out and starting over. Dr. Huey is vigorous, and will eventually out grow the grafted variety.

As Diane said, the Dr Huey part is from the root ball. You can't just cut it off because it will grow right back. If you can dig down to where it is coming up from off the roots you can try and RIP the canes away. Ripping it will cause damage to that part and may prevent it from coming back. It's not a guarantee but it's something to try.
