Hi - my neighbour next door who passed away last year was an avid rose gardener years ago. He has this rose on his front porch during the time that I got to know him but never knew the name of the rose. He really liked it a lot because it was a real good bloomer. His kids offered it to me since I grow roses. It's really not my thing, but I took it in memory of him and will keep it as a reminder of what a wonderful man he was. I'm trying to figure out what the name of the rose is though.

It's deep pink with about 15-20 petals. I think it's a Hybrid Tea cos it blooms on a single stem and has that high pointed bud that HT's have. No fragrance at all that I can detect. A very good bloomer. Not extremely thorny, but the thorns are long and curved and look nasty.

I'll probably need to change the soil next year cos it's not been changed in the 5 years I knew him. The plant is pretty small - about 2-3 feet tall by 2 feet wide.

Any other information needed to ID? Thanks for taking the time to look.
