I really would like to know more about this rose! It was here when we moved in last spring, got very little attention til I pruned deadwood early this Spring. It is obviously very disease resistant, drought tolerant and HARDY. Don't think it would be my first choice but I have to admire its durability!! Pictures are all from the same bush.

possibly Honorine de Brabant?--tho yours seems a bit more red

Here is a link that might be useful: honorine photos

no, don't think its that. The roses are mostly very red with white stripes but some, as you can see, are pink with red stripes. the Honorine also has more petals and is a different shape.

Someone suggested 'pinstripe' but I can't find any info on it - so far - on the 'net!

I think it's Berries 'n' Cream.

I've been surfing - trying to find it. Berrie 'n' cream came close but the fragrance is not very pronounced and it does have lots of thorns.

So, I'm wondering if it could be Fourth of July. You think so?

It looks like Scentimental to me or at least looks like my bush. Here is photos of it at Help me find - Roses.

In my climate, the red of Fourth of July is scarlet true red, not blue-toned as the picture shows. Scentimental is crimson but has more petals; its flowers shatter after a few days, and it has a bushy habit. FoJ is very thorny.

berries and cream!

'Pinstripe' is a miniature, so that is out. Bloom shape is wrong for 'Fourth of July', but was a reasonable guess. It is too large a plant for 'Scentimental', IMO. I believe you have 'Berries 'N' Cream'.

How do you download the pics directly to the body of your post? Thank you.

Definitely not Fourth of July which has vicious thorns!
