I don't think it's Zephie...looks like Dr. Huey to me!

Oh, I too think it is Dr. Huey, which is used as rootstock. A once blooming (in the spring) climber. Prone to blackspot and powdery mildew here.

I don't know what it is ; but it is gorgeous!

That's the good Dr. himself. You'll know for sure if it doesn't rebloom this season. Zeffy is much pinker and a sporadic rebloomer. Dr. Huey can put on a fabulous spring display so if you like it keep it!

Thank you everyone! I think ya'll are correct! My guess is it's a Dr. Heuy that the rose she purchased was grafted on to. This was a off-shoot that took over her garden and we dug up to transplant into my yard. Good thing I love it, as apparently some people think of it more as a weed since it can take over their more "special" roses. Oh well! :) This is my first rose and I'm just happy it's blooming and likes where I put it! :) Here is a picture of another bud I found this afternoon. :)
