Name That Rose!

Is it a rose?

It flourishes on the sidewalk across the entrance of our subdivision. They are wild flowers.

Is it a kind of rose?

That is definitely a rose. The flower form looks antique, does it bloom only once and then just stay a green shrub or bloom all summer?

Leaves are not antique at all. Once blooming OGRs (alba, gallicas, damasks centifolias,etc) all have very different leaves, not glossy at all.
How big are the blooms? If they are big this could be Colonial White (Somreuil) in my opinion.

Maybe Sombreuil. Are the blooms quartered? Is the fragrance a strong tea fragrance? If so, then this is a strong candidate for Sombreuil.

Maybe Alberic Barbier 1900. Once blooming Rambler opens from pale yellow buds to a fully double quatered bloom like the picture you provided. Very glossy leaves. I have one that I'm almost 100% certain its Alberic Barbier looks like the mentioned Sombreuil with one exception Sombreuil blooms off & on where as Alberic Barbier blooms only once.
