Identify me!

Inherited some rose bushes from the former owners. This one blooms on last year's growth during June. I'd love to know what it is and how to trim it (It doesn't lend itself to being trimmed like my others, which I think are HT's).

If you can just tell me the basic category this belongs to I'd be so happy. I don't even need to know any fancy names, just the type (ie, shrub, floribunda, etc).

The leaves kinda remind me of a gallica....

Can you get a good picture of the leaves? They look somewhat textured--that might help ID the class.

No. Definitely not Therese Bugnet. Therese Bugnet has red stems on old growth, and green stems on new growth. Difficult to see foliage texture, but the leaf shape doesn't look quite right, either.

I suspect you have one of the Kordesii roses bred in Canada. It reminds me of 'William Baffin'. It is definitely NOT 'Therese Bugnet'. Is there a fragrance, and how would you describe it? (IE: fruity, herbal, lemony, "old rose"?)
