| I'm cleaning up the much neglected side of my house and it has a few roses that I don't remember the names of. Some I planted and some my mom planted probably 40 or 50 years ago.
The first to bloom is this one I planted probably 6 or 7 years ago and totally neglected since then. The blooms are mostly red with a pretty dash of white . Thanks for any help.

A little fuzzy, but maybe it's Scentimental? Scentimental is a bushy floribunda that smells very nice.

Thanks for the reply. I looked at some online pics and that is probably it. A few more blooms opened this morning and I cut one for inside and took a better pic. The only thing is it isn't very fragrent though. Maybe from the plants neglect?

Thanks petaloid...looking at pics of the 2 possibilities to my rose, I'm leaning toward it being Forth of July. Especially cause of the way the centre of the bloom has the yellow.

Scentimental is very fragrant. Maybe it is Fourth of July, but Fourth of July is a climber I think. Does it seem to have long canes?

It has very long totally out of control canes. Will need a good pruning after the season.

I have a Purple Tiger floribunda that is very similar Don't let the purple in it's name mislead you, its actually more deep crimson than anything! :)

Thanks TNY78. But the more I look at pics the more I'm sure it is Fourth of July.
