Y2K or not?

This rose was purchased in December from a Supermarket. After comparing it to countless pictures and descriptions, I thought I had a Y2K.
Well, now I'm not so sure anymore because it has really taken off. A fully open bloom measures about 3.5". Any help would be appreciated.
