Name That Rose!

Unknown Red Rose

This was planted within the past 10 years or so. The colour is actually a deeper red then the photo shows it as.

    It looks like the climbing rose Altissimo. It is a manageable, upright climber with nice foliage that is healthy where I live.

    Would that variety likely to have been found at a Home depot or Lowes type store 5 or 6 years ago. That's probably a stupid question I know but I'm pretty sure thats where I bought them at.

    Yes, it would. It has been a popular rose for some time, and available at both the stores you mention.

    No, Dr. Huey has more petals. I concur with Altissimo, especially if it has thick, stiff, canes. Dr. Huey has thin, flexible, canes.
