| Considering your zone (same as mine) and your description, it sounds like Harison's Yellow. A link below to some photos. It's a wonderful rose (originally bred circa 1824). It's tough and vigorous and it will spread, so you'll probably want to keep it under control. It's very pretty when in bloom. The leaves do not look like the "typical" foliage of roses. Compare the leaves to those in the photos and see what you think. Enjoy! |
