About two years ago my sister bought a house that came with a rose bush. Well, there are two different roses growing from it and I believe I correctly identified the rootstock as Dr. Huey. My sister wants to keep both roses (Dr Huey and the other one) and I'm concerned she'll lose the unidentified rose, as I have read that the rootstock will always win the "battle". I'm considering buying her the second rose so she can let Dr Huey take over and she'll still have the other rose, but I have no idea what rose it is. I'm posting an image of it to help you ID. My camera took a very accurate photo of the color and the scent is almost exactly the same in both strength and fragrance as the rootstock. I forgot to check the number of thorns and there weren't many leaves or leaf buds as the bush is full of black spot and weeds were in my way. Can you ID it with just this photo, or at least give me some ideas? I also have a picture of the other rose, if it will help.
