| I have noticed these two roses on the sides of local roads. Any ideas what they might be?

| Are they both once-blooming ramblers (most of the roadside roses I find around here are.)? Rose #1 looks like the rambler Dr. W. Van Fleet. Rose #2 could be Excelsa or a related rambler. |

| For #2, you might also want to check out Turner's Crimson Rambler. #2 is going to be more complicated IF you've had overcast days leading up to the hour you took the photo. Pinks grade into reds and our sunlight can make a real difference in color. |
