The buds have not yet fully bloomed on this one, but I'm ready for some early guesses. Right now I'm leaning towards "Pullman Orient Express," aka Love & Peace, but I'm not an expert. Agree, disagree?

I'll post pics later of the full rose, of course.

Info on the plant itself: it is the most robust in our yard, and out of all the rosebushes we have (20-30 of them), this was the only one that did not suffer *any* apparent damage during this past severe winter. The rose is scented, and I recall that it does set hips in the fall.

Looks like 'Love & Peace', yes. Check more photos here:

Thank you, hoovb!

Here is the bud this morning:

Hmm, I'm not so sure about the Love & Peace ID now...? As it turns out, the blooms really yellow out, and I'm not seeing that in the Love & Peace photos.

Uhh...might it be Peace instead? "Love & Peace" and its parent Peace look similar in the early stages of the bloom, but Peace yellows out more like mine does.

Looks like Peace to me too. Do you detect any scent? Some do and some don't. Do you recall where it was purchased from, looks like a good quality plant

It has a pleasant scent, kinda reminded me of smarties candy before it had fully bloomed. Now it's more mild.

I dunno where it was bought, unfortunately. It's been here as long as I can remember.
