Yes, it is real. It's a florist's rose called "Hocus Pocus" and I'll put a link below to the HelpMeFind listing.

(I should warn you that florist roses do not always grow well outside of a greenhouse, but at least you know you can buy the cut roses for bouquets.)

Yep, it's a real rose. It might be Abracadabra rather than Hocus Pocus, but they look very similar. You can order Abracadabra from Moore's Roses. That's where I got mine from. The flower are small in my garden, but they last forever.

Thanks!! Both of those look to be about right. According to some descriptions and photos out there, abracadabra is a little lighter shade of red and yellow, and hocus pocus is much deeper red and a more creamy yellow. Either way, both are gorgeous. I'll have to keep an eye out at the florist's for one to put in a vase and admire up close. Don't think I am brave enough to try and grow hocus pocus. My thumb just isn't quite THAT green yet :)
