Name That Rose!

dark purple rose ID

I have forgotten the name of my dark purple rose. It has 11 petals with white on the base of the inner petals and white striping on the petaloids in the center. Stamens gold--pistil gold, pointed buds in clusters. Continuous bloom until freeze. Growth habit like a floribunda, but 4 feet tall. Strong fragrance. The color is bright dark- purple magenta. Iappreciate any help you can give regarding ID. I don't have a printer and don't know how to send a photo anyway.

You can post a photo right from your computer by using the "Image file to upload" option at the top of the follow-up posting box.

A photo is probably the only way we can guess accurately but a few of the more common deep purple ones off the top of my head: Ebb Tide, Midnight Blue, Wild Blue Yonder, Burgundy Iceburg and Blue For You.

I forgot to mention that the diameter of the bloom is 2 1/2 inches.. Is Wild Blue Yonder a fairly new cultivar? Is it a floribunda?
