It also depends on the weather. The color will be lighter in warm/hot weather, deeper in cooler weather. My Double Delight is a chameleon like that. Has it been warm there lately? Doesnt seem like Chicago Peace to me.

I completely agree that it's probably not Chicago Peace. No where near pink enough. That was just the third variety they had that could be described as a pink blend, and the color is so much richer than the other Peace roses I've seen, I didn't know.

I'm leaning toward calling it Peace. The only reason Arizona even comes to mind is it has an overall apricot tone. I did buy one of their Arizona (one with the tag intact), but it hasn't bloomed yet for me to compare. When it does, I'll post a picture of them side by side. The temps have been in the 80's, almost 90 several times since this rose was planted, so if, like I suspect, it's Peace, it's a nicely colored one that seems to be slow to fade. Doubly nice.

Okay, someone said told me it was too yellow to be Peace, not pink enough to be Pink Peace. I compared it to pictures at HMF for Peace, Chicago Peace, and Arizona, and honestly, there are pictures on all three that resemble this bloom. :^/

We had a cool front move in last night, and after five days, the bloom finally dropped it's petals this afternoon. But not before turning dark pink with only a smidge of bright yellow towards the center. Oh, I forgot to mention it's fragrant too, but then, I'm one of those people blessed with a sensitive nose who think Peace is fragrant, so that might not mean anything. I guiess I'll be able to rule out Arizona once the tagged bush blooms, but until then, anyone care to make a guess?
