| Looks like a hybrid tea but is it usually red or pink? Was the picture taken recently during 100+ degree temps or in cooler weather? Approximately how old is the bush? Unfortunately most roses can't be id'd just by a picture. |
| Its pink in color. Very fragrant..got from walmart. Bush is 5 years old, pic was taken 2 years ago during cooler temps in phoenix, az..maybe march/ early april. In 100 deg temps the flower has very low petal count dries up same day it blooms. Attached link has more pics |
Here is a link that might be useful: rose pics
| It might be Peter Mayle. One of the pics shows the large, mostly closed flower with a distinct red cast on the outer petals. In spring, Peter Mayle has the heavy flower with a reddish cast. |
| Pics of Peter Mayle on the net matches that of this rose, so its possibly peter mayle...also the strong/extremely fragrant description matches. thanks |
