How large are the flowers? If they're around 3" in diameter, it might be Blaze or Blaze Improved. Both were very popular roses in their day.

Does the plant repeat-bloom? Are the flowers fragrant?

Hi, it very well could be Blaze or Blaze Improved. The roses are 2-3" diameter and it does repeat. The flowers aren't that fragrant...but I have a horrible sense of smell. A climber huh. I just don't know what do with these guys.

I think you can grow Blaze as a tall shrub - it's not supposed to climb too high.

the color looks very much like my climber, Morning Jewel. It is a lovely prolific rose that gets to be at least 12' high, and has tons of blooms, slightly fragrant, disease free (I don't spray)

I don't think it's Blaze Imp. It has way too many petals...here's a photo of a close-up of one of my Blaze Imp. blooms.

Looking at my original post, I think that it looks more pink in the pictures than in real life. The true color is more red. I'll see if I can get another picture.
Also maybe I need to count the petals.
