Rosa Foetida Persiana

OK, so I have This rose in my garden that was here (not in the same place) when we bought the place over 30 years ago. I was told that a lot of Harrison's yellow were planted in this area, but on looking at pictures, I think mine is a Persian Yellow. It is about 7 feet tall and about 6 feet wide. The leaves are small and pretty tidy on the stem. The leaves also have a citrus smell when rubbed, but the flowers don't smell all that good. The flowers are a soft yellow on the outer petals and tend to be more yellow toward the center.

The bush is very hardy (I pulled out some runners and left them lay, my husband came along and planted them along the fence and they're leafing out) It sends out lots of suckers even though I planted it in a 5 gallon bucket with about 3 inches of the bottom cut off so it wouldn't.

Does any of this sound like one or the other? Thanks, I'd appreciate any help.

Carolyn
