That rose is a cultivar of some sort; native wild roses are typically single pink roses. It's very pretty.

Thank you. I work at a golf course, which is where I got this beauty. It spreads a little too well though. I am always cutting it back. But it blooms profusely at this time of year and smells wonderful.

Tough to tell from that pic, but the rose has the look of Desiree Parmentier about it...

Garden roses can often be found growing wild (on their own), but wild rose is usually taken to mean pure wild species roses. These have single flowers with 5 petals, except where there has been a crossing or sporting in the wild to produce flowers with extra petals (this is rare).

I don't have a guess, but it's very pretty.
