| I got this miniature rose in a Valentines Day basket. The minis going in the garden. One is in bloom (below). If someone can identify it? :)
The bloom is a little less than 2" across and mildly fragrant. Others are yellow.

| More than likely one of Poulsen's "Parade" series of pretty miniature roses sold at retail stores rather than nurseries and rarely labeled with variety names. In my experience these grow well when transplanted into larger pots with regular potting soil or planted in the ground (in your area with winter protection). Below is a link to named photos of minis on the Poulsen website. See if anything looks familiar: |

| I counted the petals on the yellow (differs only in colour from the picture), 100 counting the small ones at least 40 full formed. Is there an official procedure for comparing the number of petals. I'm getting one bloom at a time; but, the plants haven't been in the garden long. When I brought the roses home, I the yellow was in bloom and I thought there was a strong scent. In the garden, I think any scent is my imagination. Is there a usual miniature that goes in gift baskets? I looked at the Parades and there are at least 6 that are close to the yellow. The Sonja is close to the picture. |

| A couple of images that may help. The yellow (similar plant) fully open. The orange looks the same when open.
