Pink Rose with no name?

Hi,

I am new to the forum and I have a few roses from my grandma's yard that have been there for probably over 100 years. I brought them to our local rose show. None of the antique rose judges could help me. I don't have much knowledge on types of roses but a judge thought the pink one might be some sort of Victorian?

It is a starburst pink with yellow at the base of the petals. The leaves aren't shiny and so far the bush only has 1-3 buds per branch. I started the bush from a cutting so it is only 2 years old at this point but it seems to bloom once in late spring and then again in the fall. It has a nice full citrus-like scent to it.

At any rate, any help would be most appreciated.

Well, it doesn't look Antique to me from your pictures. It looks like Tiffany to me--pink with a yellow base and fragrant and matte (non-glossy) foliage just screams 'Tiffany'. Are the buds long, narrow and very elegant looking?

If it does turn out to be Tiffany, you will get more blooms as your plant matures.

I think you are right. That looks like my grandma's rose. She'll be glad to hear it has a name.

It does have that yellow in it that Tiffany has but the bloom is closer to Lafter which has Tiffany in its genes. Not sure this rose is either of those, however.
