If you live in an area with hard winter freezes, it could be that the named variety died back before it ever bloomed and the hardy rootstock onto which it was grafted has taken over. This happens a lot.

The most common rootstock used is a vigorous red shrub named Dr. Huey and your photo shows a similar rose. It's mostly a spring bloomer and can get mildew in my area, but I think it's pretty. Yep -- that looks like good ol' Dr. Huey root stock. I call him "Dr. Phooey out you go." Unless you want to put up with a disease ridden rose that blooms only once per year, get out yer shovel and dig him out, and then start over with something you like.

Thank you both for the reply. I think so to that it may be dr. huey, this rose originate from the time that i had no clue how to plant them.

Woho now i can buy another rose! LOL
