| This rose is blooming all around right now. It is a climber or rambler being somtimes it is way up in a tree. Does anyone have an idea of what it might be? |

| The species rose R. setigera begins to bloom after most of the other native species. Setigera has the strength to climb trees or just to live a low-impact life along fencerows. The fall foliage colors are great, except in the wild, it's usually overgrown by honeysuckle, poison ivy and even kudzu by then. It really deserved to be appreciated in more gardens. Ann |
