Can you give us some info on the size of the blooms, the size of the plant.. is it a short bush or a climber.. does it sprawl like a lot of the new short bushy knockouts or carpet roses or is it an old rose he has had for many years.

It isn't a carpet rose, blooms too big(2 inches plus) He has had it for about 6 yrs so that would rule out new varieties. It's about 3 to 4 foot high and a bush.
it's stunning isn't it?killed with wrong garden spray. it contained moss killer.
