Can anyone ID this rose that I had to cut back?

Hi,

I recently moved into a home with a climbing rose that I have not seen anywhere else nor have I been able to find anything like it on the internet. It grows to about 8 feet tall when not trimmed, it blooms from early spring to late fall whether I dead-head it or not. It is very fragrant. It had black spot fungus and the blooms got smaller and less fragrant after I treated it then I finally figured out my problem and cut the whole thing back about 10 days ago. It already has new growth so I'm not too worried about it coming back but I'd love to know what it is.

Thanks!

That's really spectacular and I hope someone knows what it is.

Vick's Caprice is an old hybrid perpetual with subtle stripes, opens cupped, not very thorny, repeats.

Here is a link that might be useful: HMF VC

I won't be able to identify this, but can you provide any or all of the followiing:

a closeup of the opening bud
a closeup of the bud cluster
a closeup of the full sized leaves
a closeup of the thorns on the stem
a picture of the overall appearance of the bush/climber?

Those extra photos will enormously help the more experienced rose growers who check out your post.
