Name That Rose!

Was Supposed to Be LD Braithwaite. . ? What is it?

Bought this rose at Bimart and it was marked LD Braithwaite. . .I knew I was in trouble when I saw that the buds were white/pink. This is what they opened out to. I cannot figure it out. Very light pink, medium spicy fragrance, 80 to 90 petals and very cupped and flat. Have been looking at Sharifa Asma, Miss Alice, Heritage. . .anyone?

Actually... I noticed a mix up at 2 local garden centres this year. A bright crimson rose mislabeled as Heritage, and a beautiful pale pink English rose mislabeled as L.D. Brathwaite. I made a blog post about it just a few weeks ago!

I guess someone accidently swapped the buds a while back. IMHO, you have a Heritage on your hands (a number of factors can affect its colour)

The one I'm assuming is actually LD Braithwaite is suffering from powdery mildew, so I'm currently not a huge fan.
