Help - indentify climbing rose species

Hi all -
We inherited some climbing roses on the south side of our new home in Milwaukee, WI. They have bloomed for a short period each year, but tend to dry-up and die-out pretty quickly.
Can anyone help identify the type of rose? And, any suggestions on care/maintenance to keep it as healthy and beautiful as possible?
