Well it isn't About Face...

Hello!

Got this as "About Face" last fall from Hortico. It's lovely, but it certainly isn't AF!

Any idea what it might be? These are the first blooms, so far solitary on a stem, large (4+ inches), full, slightly paler but very similar yellow to the Julia Child next door, some white on the petal edges, rounded buds.

Thanks!
Karen

Take a look on Hortico's web site and see what yellows they offer. That might help narrow down the search.

Unfortunately, Hortico offers a couple dozen yellow roses! It's taken me three days on HMF etc. to try to narrow it down!

I'm down to the following:

Gina Lollobrigida
Toulouse-Lautrec
...these two both are listed as very fragrant - mine has mild to no fragrance that I can detect.

Gold Badge

or my personal most likely:
Summer Love (Carruth HT, 2006)

Anybody care to chime in? Please? :)
Karen
