I would appreciate any help

I live in zone 3/4. When I was little my dad bought me my first rose bush and it was yellow. It was a small bush with probably less than 10 blooms a season. I would love to know if anyone might know what it could have been.

I have my own small daughter now, her fist rose was a Golden Cascade and I dont think it will survive the winter. I would love to give her the same yellow rose I had but I have no idea what it was called.

I know it may seem silly but that rose bush ment alot to me as a child, It survived many years and made me very happy, the sentimental value is priceless.

I appreciate any ideas, thanks (It was not a mini)

It might help to know, more or less, the year your dad might have bought you the bush. Then we won't suggest more recent introductions.

Could it have been Austrian Yellow? Or, if you can give more info on the bloom (number of petals, if you can remember if it was fragrant), that would also help.
