Full StoryPlease help me identify this rose :)
I have this climbing red rose that was planted in my yard when I moved in, and I'm really thinking it may be some sort of rootstock(looks ALOT like Dr. Huey to me), but I need some help to identify it. I would say it is Dr. Huey for sure but read that Dr Huey was nearly thornless and blooms in clusters. My rose is very thorny and doesn't bloom in clusters. It is also very disease resistant and it has a slight fragrance.
I really haven't done anything with it b/c i don't like it, but don't have the heart to SP either. OH, and it blooms big spring flush and one or two blooms during summer- not sure about fall.
Thanks in advance for any info./help.
