| I'm trying to find the name of the rose pictured for a friend. It was planted by her mother sometime, by best recollection in the mid-late 1960's and might have been purchased as a Conard-Pyle rose. They asked me last fall to propagate what had basically dwindled to a single weak cane on the north side of their house and low-and-behold the first cutting took so it probably isn't too hard to grow from cuttings. It's definitely a hybrid tea and in fact it balls up a bit before it opens. If you look closely at the petals, there's a little darker vein here and there. Any ideas? The deep pink color of the pictures is accurate. |
