| Greetings all,
This year I've discovered my passion for gardening. I am thankful I have discovered this forum as I am learning lots from all the experts here. I need help in identifying this rose bush. A little back ground, this was given to me by my high school bf's mom who was a big gardener with a lush beautiful rose garden. I am 99% sure this is an original root rose bush (she gave me from her stock). Not sure of her age, but it's been in my yard for 17 years. She's been through a lot of neglect and butchering (unintentionally by my father who doesn't know much about taking care of all things green) but tough and blooms beautifully, especially this year (because my father forgot to hack it back to death last winter). She is also a once bloomer. We live in Markham, Ontario zone 5b. Would love some help in ID this bush! Thanks!

| It could be any number of varieties, but the popular Paul's Scarlet Climber and Dr. Huey (rootstock) are two that come to mind. HelpMeFind is a good search site, with photos and information: |
