mango colored rose

Saw a rose in a florist's bouquet and I'd like to find something at least like it, if not the actual rose. Gorgeous clear yellow-orange, just like the flesh of a ripe mango. Not huge, maybe 3" across, lovely full rounded form- not as pointy as a classic HT form, and the stem was cut to around 12" long, so I don't know how long it might be on the bush. Light scent, HT with a bit of citrus? Really the color and shape was the big deal. Like a glass of fresh squeezed OJ. Delicious!

Here are some possibilities California Pajarosa and the grand master florist rose site Omniflora. Maybe your rose is Antique Brass?

Roses that are fairly easy to find for home growing are Marilyn Monroe, Just Joey, Brandy, Abbaye de Cluny, Valencia, Bronze Star, Jema, Lucille Ball and Nancy Reagan.

Here is a link that might be useful: Rose search at Helpmefind.com
