Closer photo of the bloom and leaves will help greatly. Also, details on height, if the bloom is fragrant, number of petals. How long has the rose been in the ground? Is it a once-bloomer (only in the spring) or does it repeat bloom? Is it thorny?

Sorry, there are a lot of pink roses out there so if you can be as detailed as possible that will help narrow down the options.

RE: identity of rose!

well - that is the only photo I have - we just bought the house and the plants have now all been cut down! :(

It is quite thorny - there are 6 or 7 rose plants in the backyard and this one seems to be the thorniest. The house is from the '50s.

It must be a repeat-bloomer because it was blooming in late September before it got trimmed down.

I think the plant grew to about 4 feet or so.

I was told they are hybrid teas. Is that correct?

Thanks for any info! :)
