´Madame Driout´ or ´Careless Love´???

This rose is sold in Buenos Aires (Argentina) as ´Madame Driout´ but I think there is a big mistake, as I guess it is ´Careless Love´, another sport of ´Red Radiance´.

What do you think?

THANKS a lot and greeting from B.A! Mariano.

P.S. sorry for the pictures, they were taken from a neighboring garden and are not very sharp.

´Careless Love´ or ´Madame Driout´???

Well it's certainly not Mme. Driout. I'd go with you on Careless Love, though -- that's really close, as far as I can tell from these photos. I grow both of them.

One easy way to identify Careless Love is the way it occasionally throws one solid color light pink petal into a flower that is otherwise fully striped. Does your plant do that? I don't know of many older striped roses that do that other than Careless Love, so that would make it an easy ID.

THANKS for your reply Kathy. I do also think it must be ´Careless Love´ but it was included in the catalog of a very well known nursery of Argentina, with a 80 decades tradition, as ´Madame Driout´and I could not believe they are selling a plant under an unaccurate name. I will let them know, maybe they can change it in order to offer the correct plant.

THANKS for your time once again and warmest regards from B.A, Mariano.

P.S: the rose grows in a neighboring garden, anyway I will try to check what you have told me in reference to the pink petals fully stripped from the center of the flower.
