What is this rambling type rose?

I know nothing about roses, but I think this is a rambling type (not a climber) as it grows in a fan shape, like my hand, with long canes. the blooms are clusters of white, small, half-dollar sized in June/July. It was green and leafy all Aug. and Sept got a few more blooms and then began dropping most of its leaves from the bottom up.

Your question has waited a long time for an answer - I hope you've found the rose's name by some other means, but if not, here's a little input from me.

Rose plants classified as climbers grow in many shapes, including the fan shape you describe. You mention some repeat bloom, which narrows things down a bit.

There are many possibilities, including White Dawn -- I will link photos of that one below:

Here is a link that might be useful: White Dawn

Looks like multiflora to me. A type of rose they use for grafting.

Shows multiple traits not usual for Rosa multiflora.
