Hi, I am Mani Nair from Mumbai, India. I have a double delight rose plant. I would like to propagate more plants using its cuttings. The rose plant is a budded one. What kind of potting medium I can use and please tell other precautions to take.
Regards,
Mani

RE: Rose propagation

I have taken Rose cuttings, put them in good garden soil, covered them with a glass liter sized jar and kept them moist and had them root, it is pretty simple to do. This article may be of some help.

Here is a link that might be useful: Rooting Rose cuttings

It makes no difference which cultivar of "rosa" you are trying to root, the process is the same.
