 o
Frequency of spraying Cornell Formula?

hey all

I am trying to get a schedule planned for spring/summer garden maintenance and I'm not sure how often I should spray Cornell Formula. Weekly? Every 2 weeks?

I also plan to use the homemade "Deer Off" concoction of eggs, hot pepper & garlic. When should that be used in relation to when Cornell Formula is sprayed?

Thanks for any and all advice!

Alexa

Hi Alexa,

I just sprayed with Cornell solution yesterday, my roses have most of their spring leaves and no sign of fungus yet.(in N. Calif.)
I believe that every 2 weeks would be ideal.
I spray a few of my favorite roses once a week when fungi is apparant.

A rose farmer I know on the west coast between Seatle and Vancouver sprays weekly. At the beginning of August last summer, after a drought then days of rain, his 16 000 roses were absolutely clean.

The Cornell website says every 7 to 10 days.
